CTCO 2020 : REVIEW OF THIS 13th EDITION

CTCO - 2020/02/11

This year, CTCO took place on 4, 5 and 6 February 2020 at Eurexpo Lyon. This new edition was characterized by the emphasis on CSR and sustainable development but above all by an ever-increasing number of visitors and new exhibitors.

Figures continue to rise

Indeed, with 11,192 visitors in 3 days, the trade show recorded a 2.6% increase over the previous edition. The trade show welcomed 325 exhibitors. A figure that remains relatively stable compared to the previous year. Of these, 87 were new exhibitors. A consequent renewal for the greatest pleasure of the visitors, in permanent search of novelties.

CTCO 2020

Animations to follow the trends

As every year, visitors were able to discover a selection of 2020 innovations in the MUST area at the entrance to the exhibition. Other side-events: The Print Lab offered embroidery and screen-printing demonstrations, while the fashion shows presented the new collections of Clique-Craft-Projob, Mascot Workwear, Myrtle Beach, James&Nicholson and SG.

Sustainability at the heart of CTCO

As advertisers are increasingly attentive to the sustainability of products and as new anti-waste laws are emerging, CTCO has decided to focus on sustainable development to support the industry in this transition.

Whether in terms of the selection of materials, the manufacturing process or the upgrading of products, this theme was very much present throughout the trade show with, in particular, the highlighting of innovations in the Must space, where the vast majority of the 2020 selection was made up of recycled, eco-designed, recyclable or even biodegradable materials.

The CTCO trade show also set up the recycling of 12,000sqm of carpet, the installation of selective sorting bins and the recovery of visitor badges at the final exit.

C!Print and CTCO: a perfect synergy

Visitors to CTCO could also visit C!Print in the next Hall, the trade fair for personalisation, visual communication and printing solutions brought together more than 250 exhibitors, manufacturers, distributors and print service providers and 16,593 trade visitors: printers, converters, but also communication agencies, designers, creatives and advertisers.
