Created 30 years ago, SOL’S, the first brand of the SOLO Group, breaks the codes of the promotional garment market and prefers quality to quantity. After the creation of 4 new brands, the objectives remain the same for the group, which wishes to continue and accentuate its commitment. In 2021, SOLO Group is launching the wear&care program based on 3 pillars: product, people, planet in order to reduce its carbon footprint and improve its social footprint.

What is wear&care?

wear&care is SOLO Group’s CSR commitment program. It is both a summary of all our actions and an internal charter, which guides each member of the team in their daily actions.

 

Why did you create wear&care?

Responsibility for the environment and for people has always been at the heart of SOLO Group, even before it became a priority for everyone. Today, our customers need to be assured that the clothes they wear are also in line with their values. We have set up wear&care so that they can easily access all of our actions, both product-specific and company-wide.

 

What does it look like?

We have chosen to organize this program around 3 pillars. The first, entitled “PRODUCT”, covers all the actions carried out to improve the quality of our products by increasing the proportion of organic or recycled materials in our offer every day.

The second pillar is “PEOPLE”, where we have classified all the actions carried out in the direction of women and men in the countries of production or not. For example, our actions within the framework of FAIR WAIR or our participation in Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque.

Finally, the third, “PLANET”, where we gather our actions and certifications allowing us to reduce the impact of our production on the planet. For example, our certifications concerning organic cotton or recycled polyester or PETA.

 

What about tomorrow?

This program is growing and we are proud of it. For example, we are starting this year with AWARE to offer full traceability of our products throughout their manufacture. That said, our goal is not to add more and more certifications to wear&care, but to implement more and more good practices and to deepen those that prove to be efficient and useful.
