CTCO 2022: THE REVIEW OF THIS 14th EDITION
2022/03/24
Initially scheduled for the beginning of February 2022, the CTCO Lyon trade show took place on 15, 16 and 17 March for an extraordinary edition where the entire promotional gift and garment community was finally able to gather.
Key figures to remember
More than 260 exhibitors, including 50 new ones, came from more than 15 different countries to present the largest European offer on the market.
An exhaustive offer that allowed the 6,833 professional visitors present during the 3 days of the show to observe the latest trends in promotional objects and textiles.
The quality of the visitors was praised by the market players, as was the number of new visitors who came to discover the new collections.
“The media object industry finally came together at CTCO to share, exchange and learn. A great success and a perfect timing considering the recent events! I would like to warmly thank the 656 Éditions team for its perseverance and the entire organisation.”
Antony Villeger, President of the 2FPCO
New at CTCO
This year, the trade show was held in two separate halls at Eurexpo, linked by a footbridge. This new layout offered a dynamic visit and an even more convivial setting thanks, in particular, to the two bar areas which facilitated exchanges.
Another new feature in 2022 was the Speed Demos. This animation allowed nearly 30 exhibitors to “pitch” the product of their choice in front of the camera and the visitors. This animation put the spotlight on each participating exhibitor and their main product (now available on CTCO’s YouTube channel).
Animations to stay on the cutting edge
The new collections of the textile brands Clique-Craft-Cutter&Buck-Projob, Mantis World, NEOBLU and Stormtech made their show on the CTCO podium, with no less than 9 fashion shows over the 3 days of the trade show. An ideal opportunity for visitors to discover the products worn by models. Another highlight of the trade show was the conferences and round tables that gave the audience the keys to the market. On the programme: CSR scoring, garment made in France, French branding, a market study on the effectiveness of media objects, webmarketing tools adapted to our sector, etc. Exclusive content, produced in collaboration with C!mag magazine, 2FPCO and European Sourcing, CTCO’s historic partners.
In order to fill up on new products, visitors were also able to discover a selection of 2022 innovations on the Must area and vote for the promotional product of the year. For this 14th edition, Passot Innovation won the Must 2022 prize with its design lamp/loudspeaker.
Finally, the Print Lab offered demonstrations of embroidery, laser engraving, DTF (direct-to-film) and direct digital printing on objects.
C!Print: see you in May
For the first time and in an exceptional way, C!Print, the leading trade show for the visual communication and graphic industries, will take place on different dates from CTCO. More than 230 exhibitors, manufacturers, distributors and printing service providers will be present on 10, 11 and 12 May 2022 at Eurexpo (Lyon).
