In this rapidly changing world, the first mission of the French federation of promotional items professionals (2FPCO) is more than ever to train, inform and promote the capacity of the media to be useful in the daily life of its users, sustainable in its use and responsible in its design, production, distribution, transformation and end of life.

This crisis has revealed who we are, what companies are, what they do and what they are committed to. It amplified and exposed disparities, convictions, real or fictitious commitments. What will the world be after? No one knows.
We have all read a lot of analysis in the past few months about the afterlife, including returning to normalcy, but was the normalcy we left behind in March 2020 good for our world? We are no longer certain. Either way, there will be no return to normalcy, because the lines will shift, it’s inevitable, and that is probably good news.
SPEAKING CREATES OBLIGATIONS
In this rapidly changing world, the first mission of the French federation of promotional items professionals (2FPCO) is more than ever to train, inform and promote the capacity of the media to be useful in the daily life of its users, sustainable in its use and responsible in its design, production, distribution, transformation and end of life.
The public’s demand for transparency is leading actors of the market to show their desire to be more transparent about their practices, by offering ever more responsible products. These actions generate, in return, more stringent obligations than usual and their conduct must be exemplary and proven. Talking creates obligations.
PROTECT BRANDS AND USERS
Faced with this paradigm shift, object communication professionals have no choice but to revolutionize. We have a duty of transparency and responsibility towards environmental and societal challenges and we must respond to them collectively, in a constructive dialogue with all stakeholders (advertisers, agencies, event professionals, recipients, legislator, etc. ) by relying on the strong expertise of 2FPCO / Objet Média.
As sociologist Bruno Latour underlined: “If we do not take advantage of this incredible situation to change, it is an irresponsible spoil of this crisis”. And that is why we, actresses and actors in the media object, must both protect the brands of the advertisers who trust us, the people who use the products we distribute, and become aware of their impact on the planet.
A SHARING HUB
We are a pioneering federation, by setting up an unprecedented CSR awareness program for a professional organization. These tools made available to 2FPCO members make it possible to understand and anticipate these new requirements. We have never had so many participants in our CSR morning sessions and webinars, volunteers to join the programs offered by 2FPCO Formation, and this is intended for all audiences (salespeople, buyers, managers) and the entire Objet Média ecosystem (importers, suppliers, markers, distributors and advertisers).
The 2FPCO is a sharing and co-construction hub that allows everyone to develop their skills, and which mobilizes collective intelligence in order to help our members meet new challenges. As our actions grow and multiply, we need additional strength to carry them out. Join the movement!
